Life is so busy at times that we find ourselves with hardly any time to pause and pray. Well, just like any other thing, prayer takes effort and requires the setting of priorities. Prayer just doesn’t happen. We have to make it happen.

Today is the feast of St. Therese of the Child Jesus who is also known as the Little Flower. At yesterday’s mass, Fr. Jim Ferry asked us to offer today’s mass for our missioners or those who go out to spread the Holy Word of God.

Last September 22, 2007, Christ the King Parish at Greenmeadows celebrated the second anniversary of its Stewardship Way of Life. Bishop Honesto Ongtioco of the Diocese of Cubao celebrated the Holy Eucharist at 6pm.

Once in awhile, I go through the motions of clearing out my closet. We all notice that after awhile, we purchase or are given a lot of new stuff that it is necessary to throw out some of our existing stuff to accommodate all our new things.

As you pray daily, please remember to offer prayers for those who have passed away and are in purgatory. Those of us who are living, all probably wish that we could be assured of going to heaven to share eternal life with the Father.

Christ the King Parish (CTK) and the Couples for Christ CTK Chapter are embarking on Libis Kalinga, a Gawad Kalinga Project for the relocation of Sitio 1, Libis Residents. Beneficiaries will include 65 families. The GK Site will be in San Jose, Bulacan (adjacent to Bagong Silang, Caloocan).
